The Conversion Berg wants people to be able to perceive, operate, understand, and use our public website, client portal, staff workspace, and the documents we send. This statement describes our practical benchmark, what we do today, known limits, and how to ask for help. It is not a certification that every page meets every success criterion at all times.
Our benchmark
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for public marketing pages and for the core flows we control in the portal and signing screens. That includes text alternatives for meaningful images, keyboard access to navigation and forms, visible focus, sufficient colour contrast for body text and primary buttons, resizable text, and form labels that can be read by assistive technology. We use semantic headings and landmarks on theme templates so screen-reader users can skip repeated chrome.
What we test
When we ship theme or portal changes we review key templates: home, service and pricing pages, contact and thank-you, blog articles, policy pages, portal sign-in, and the public agreement signing page. We check colour contrast for the amber-on-dark palette, tap-target size on mobile, and that the cookie banner and sticky call-to-action can be dismissed or do not trap keyboard focus. We test forms for name, email, and consent fields with visible errors. Automated scanners help us catch missing alt text and empty buttons; they do not replace human review.
Known limits
Some older portfolio images, embedded third-party booking or video players, and PDF files attached to a project may not meet AA in every respect. Decorative motion on the home page is reduced where the theme detects a preference for reduced motion, but some browsers do not expose that preference. Complex data tables in the CRM are designed for staff who have been trained on the product; we can provide a simpler export or a call if a client cannot use a particular grid. Third-party CAPTCHA, maps, or payment widgets follow the provider’s accessibility, not ours.
Documents and agreements
Signed agreements and invoices are offered as HTML in the browser and, where enabled, as a downloadable PDF. If a PDF is difficult to use, ask us for an HTML or tagged alternative of the same record. Electronic signature fields require a typed name, email, and an explicit consent checkbox; we can talk through the process on a call if the form is hard to complete.
How to request an alternative
If any page, form, file, or function is difficult to use, email support@theconversionberg.com or info@theconversionberg.com with the URL or document name, the format you need (for example large print, HTML instead of PDF, or a phone walkthrough), and any deadline we should know about. We will acknowledge the request and provide a reasonable accessible alternative or a workaround. Recurring barriers are logged so we can fix the underlying template.
Response expectations
We aim to respond to accessibility requests within two working days and to provide an alternative as soon as reasonably practicable. Complex fixes to third-party tools may take longer; we will say so. This statement does not limit any right you have under the Equality Act 2010, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, or other applicable accessibility law.
Staff and client workspaces
Berg Ops is a dense operational interface. We label primary actions, keep destructive buttons distinct, and avoid relying on colour alone for status. Keyboard users should be able to reach tables, filters, and dialogs without a mouse. If a particular CRM view is not usable with your assistive technology, tell us which view and we will provide the same data as a simpler page, a CSV, or a call. We do not require a mouse-only gesture to complete signing or to submit an enquiry on the public site.
Third-party content
Embedded calendars, maps, video players, and payment widgets are controlled by their vendors. Where we can choose a more accessible embed, we will. Where we cannot, we offer a telephone or email alternative for the same task (for example booking a call or paying an invoice). Policy pages themselves are HTML so they can be resized and read aloud without a PDF.
Continuous improvement
When we redesign a template we re-check contrast, focus order, and form labels. We log accessibility tickets in the same way as other defects. Training for staff who publish blog posts includes adding alt text and using heading styles instead of bold-only titles. This statement will be updated when our benchmark or contact route changes.
Feedback and complaints
Please contact us first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied, you may also raise the issue with a relevant equality or human-rights body in your jurisdiction. Telling us the assistive technology and browser you use helps us reproduce the problem.
Changes to this document
We may update this document when our services, tools, or legal duties change. Material changes are issued as a new version with an effective date. The version shown at the foot of this page is the current public text. A signed proposal, statement of work, or agreement remains governed by the version incorporated into that order unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise. Minor corrections that do not change your rights may be published without a separate email notice.
Governing framework
Contracts use the law of England and Wales as the primary governing framework unless the signed order expressly states another governing law. Mandatory local protections continue to apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded, including protections under UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, PECR, and, where a Canadian resident is involved, PIPEDA, CASL, and applicable provincial privacy law.
